Today I want to commend, congratulate and applaud all our SDA Parents and our athletes who choose to stand for God and their faith with regards to their participation in the 2024 Carifta games.
It is my understanding that you were presented with the option of participating and breaking God’s Sabbath day or opting out. You choose to opt out, Heaven has recorded your decision.
Like the Apostle Peter said in Acts 5:29…”we ought to obey God rather than man”
The Psalmist David said in Psalms 37:25 ” I once was young and now I’m old, yet I have never seen the rightous forsaken or his seed begging bread”
God will never abandon his children, your stand is truly admirable. God will indeed provide for your future in sports Scholarship or whatever he sees best.
There is an old adage which reads “If you don’t stand for something, you will fall for anything”
Indeed, this last weekend you stood for something, may God bless you richly.
